WISOL LAUNCHES WORLD 1ST SIGFOX MONARCH MODULE SOLUTION FOR TINY INTER-CONTINENTAL LOGISTIC TRACKING SOLUTION

Wisol, a global leading wireless connectivity module manufacturer, announced the world 1st value -added and unique Sigfox Monarch Module solution to feature its inter-continental logistic tracking solution seamlessly.

Sigfox Monarch provides a unique radio recognition service enabling devices to manage the radio frequency changes, without any additional hardware such as GPS or Wi-Fi chipset. This service enables devices to run seamlessly in all parts of the world, by automatically recognizing and adapting to the local radiofrequencies standards. It unlocks endless use cases in logistics and supply chain, the consumer industry, and in the automated maintenance for the shipping, aircraft and railway industries. Sigfox’s technology operates in unlicensed bands worldwide, with radio frequencies ranging from 862 to 928 MHz.

JinDuk, Kim, Senior VP at Wisol, said, “By increasing the demand of inter-continental logistic tracking solution, we definitely believe Sigfox Monarch module solution will be a game changer for logistic business. So far, the existing global inter-continental logistic tracking solution requires expensive payment and it blocks wide-use of tracking system. To solve this obstacle, we, as pioneer for global Sigfox module solution, designed it very tiny size, low-power and value-added modules to fit IoT Tracking device. Because we already have various Sigfox module line-ups which are market proven worldwide, we are very exciting that this Brand-New Sigfox Monarch module provides wide option to global customers to select Sigfox module depending on their target application and it will make synergy with current available our Sigfox module line-ups.”

“The early adoption of our S2-LP ultra-low-power sub-1 GHz RF transceiver and BlueNRG-2 Bluetooth low energy SoC, along with the ST dual-radio Software Development Kit, highlights the readiness of ST’s reference solution for the Sigfox Monarch technology. It enables a new era in remote monitoring and industrial asset management,” said Marco Veneri, Low-Power RF Marketing Manager, STMicroelectronics. “The Wisol module portfolio, which now includes a dual-radio Sigfox Monarch and Bluetooth LE solution containing ST’s technology, greatly simplifies the adoption of the Sigfox Global networking for the Sensor-to-Cloud connectivity”.

“We are very excited at Sigfox about this achievement that accelerates the deployment of the Monarch feature providing a fully unique and global device experience in markets like the Logistic and Supply chain. This competitive and optimized Monarch capable module demonstrate that from the early day, Wisol is continuously strengthening his partnership with Sigfox to expand Sigfox’s global network and ecosystem.” said Raouti Chehih, Chief Adoption Officer at Sigfox
